Joy school

I better hurry cause I'm supposed to be reading the Sunday School lesson right now while Logan is sleeping. Joy school went really well yesterday!! But of course I forgot to take a picture. We learned about the letter T, and we read a story called The Three Snow Bears, and we used chocolate syrup to make thumbprints on paper. We also had Jello shaped like "T"rees and "T"rains made out of grahm crackers, marshmellows and pretzels. They loved it!

Kylee is turning 7 tomorrow. I can't believe it! She thinks we are not doing anything for her Birthday. (I know, I'm mean) But I got streamers today and a Happy Birthday banner. I'm going to put the streamers accross her doorway tonight so she has to break them when she wakes up. It will be fun!! I'm going to have a couple of her friends come to play for a while tomorrow after school. She'll be so excited. I'm still not exactly sure how I'm going to do her cake. I've got to go look in my idea book. I'm sure I'll have lots of pictures tomorrow!

Our night out

So I woke up last Friday morning to get ready for my night out with Jeremy. I was so excited!! Then I hear Logan coughing and crying in his room. I couldn't believe it. He had a fever and a cough. Not croupey thankfully. So I called my mom, and she said he would be fine. She would give him medicine and put him to bed early. I was so glad. Mom came at 3:30 and I went to pick up Jer at work. We drove right up to Heber and then to Midway. I had no idea where we were going. Then he pulled up to this huge, nice hotel called the Zermott. I've never stayed in anything like it. It was so cool. There was a fireplace in the room. We ate dinner in the hotel Bistro, and rented a movie. I all of sudden can't remember what it was called. It was the one where Catherine Zeta-Jones is a Chef. I loved it. Then we ate breakfast in the restaurant and checked out. I wanted to go swimming, but Jer was too tired. They even had a heated outdoor pool. Of course it was 9 degrees outside, so that was out of the question.

Then we drove up to Jeremy's family property to look for Elk and deer. (Suprisingly, I didn't get bored) We say at least 200 animals. It was pretty cool. Then we went to Cabelas and came home. Mom said Logan did great!! I was glad, cause the next night he was up at 1:15 am for 2 hrs with a 104 degree fever. The next day was Presidents day so I didn't take him to the doctor, and by tuesday he was doing better. Kylee had a cough the week before, but that's it. Now Summer has the same cough and had a small fever yesterday. I think they might of had a little Bronchitis. I have good herbs that helped so this time I didn't have to take them to the doctor. It's so hard having sick kids. But thankfully, I'm not sick or it would have been horrible.

I have to teach Summers Joy school on Monday for the last time this year. 11 kids at one time. But I have a helper come. I'll be glad to get it over with. The barely 3 year old just don't sit still. And this one cute 4 year old named Mason, doesn't know how to whisper. But Summer can reconize almost all of her letters, and knows their sounds. I'm not sure I could have taught her so well.

Well Logan is yelling at me from his room. Sometimes after his nap, he forgets he can open the door. He's so funny. If I remember, I'll take a picture of our Joy school class.

Here we go!

I love reading my friends and families blogs so here I go. I've started my own. I can't promise that I will keep up on it often but I will try.

Here's a quick family update.
Logan is almost 2 (next month), and talks a lot. I usually know what he is saying, but its not clear like when Kylee was young. He says "No" way to often and loves to make Summer cry. (She way bigger than him, but cowers to him)
Summer is 4 1/2 and is still in her own world most of the time. She is really smart though. I found that she hears what is going on even when I'm sure she's not paying attention. Especially in church (I teach her class). I am glad that she has another year though, to get ready for kindergarten.

Kylee is loving 1st grade. Sometimes she says she gets bored but thats probably cause she's reading on a 3rd grade level, and math and spelling is "so easy" as she say's. She's a lot more sassy lately, but still has such a kind heart and is quick to say sorry.

Jeremy is still busy as ever at work (Electrical Wholesale Supply in Orem) He helps an inside salesman named Brandon and he loves Jeremy. He's always taking him to lunch or giving him a little cash once in a while cause he thinks Jer does a good job. Jeremy is one of the hardest workers I know. He rarely is sick and never misses work for no reason. Lately, he is even been kind of sweet. For those of you who know Jeremy, you know that he doesn't show emotion, Period. But lately, maybe age is getting to him, or I think that the guys at work are good examples. He is taking me somewhere overnight tomorrow, (Friday) and my mom is babysitting. I was so shocked. He doesn't do holiday's. Except maybe, Christmas. So I am so excited.

Me, well I am finally over the morning sickness. But I still have a very acute sense of smell, and that often leads to almost gagging. Right now Logan is on the other side of the room with a poopie diaper and it smells horrible. I am 13 weeks and couldn't believe it the other night when I felt the baby for the first time. It's the earliest I've felt it. It so fun to feel though, cause it makes it more real. I wasn't sick for nothing. I wasn't surprised though, that I started to show imediately. And I've needed pregnancy clothes the last two weeks. Its a really satisfying feeling to know that this is the complete of our family. It feels so right. And its fun to enjoy the moments and know that its the last time I'll be doing this.

Well this is an o-k beginning. I'll see how things go from here!!!
