Just some random pictures

It was weird having Kylee come to exercises during spring break. Logan sure loved it. He loves his sisters.
We went to my Mom and Dad's house from Friday to Saturday cause Jer's Dad came in from Nevada and they went to work up at the Ranch (Jeremy's Dads property, east of Ogden and Morgan) My kids love to go to grandpa and grandma's house. Grandpa put on soft music for the girls to go to sleep to. Once they were asleep Dad and I went down by them to look at some stuff on the computer and they didn't even move. My kids sleep like the dead!
Grandma Ovard made her three grandsons an outfit. It sure doesn't look homemade, don't you think? She even sewed on a baseball patch on the pocket. Sorry but I think my son is so adorable. Logan's cousins are Connor who turned two yesterday, and Jackson who turns one on Sunday. Jeremy's Dad and Mom have 3 grandsons and will soon have 3 granddaughters. I will have 4 of those six! The other two belong to two of Jer's brothers.
We went to Jumpin Jacks in Springville for Summer's end of preschool party. She had so much fun! We could have stayed all day and she wouldn't have eaten or anything. We stayed for about two hours. Logan had fun too, but he was afraid of all but one slide and the car you could drive. Oh, well. If I didn't have such a big belly I would have taken him on the bigger ones.

Three of the 11 kids from the preschool and their siblings couldn't make it. We had fun though.Later we sat on the porch to eat Popsicles, blow bubbles and write with sidewalk chalk. Then about an hour later Kylee threw up. She said her stomach hurt all day yesterday and today. Now she says she's feeling better. I hope its just bad food and not the flu. Poor thing.

Spring fever

So I know these pictures don't look like much. For those of you who have not been in my house, you won't know that we have had boxes and piles of other stuff in our upstairs hallway for almost two years now, while Jeremy finished the floor in our computer/sewing room. Thankfully Jeremy also caught spring fever, and this last weekend he moved all that stuff back into this room. (He decided he will do the baseboards and painting and other finish work some other year! Yes!) So not only is my hallway perfectly clean, with nothing hanging on the railing, but I can now have my sewing machine always available and on my sewing table! Cleaning all that got me so excited that I cleaned my room better, (it's so full of stuff that has no where else to go that it's hard to make it look clean) and I reorganized the closet in the basement. Whew, now all we need it consistantly better weather. I can't belive that it was 81 degrees here yesterday and by the evening today, it will only be 45. Good heck, make up your mind would ya. I don't want to wish for hot weather though. I still have 4 1/2 more months of big bellyness. I guess I better enjoy the rain while I can, right!

So here is a random picture, but aren't they so dang cute! My sister blessed her baby this last Sunday and I was in shock when I asked Jeremy to come and he said yes! So I got Logan dressed and Jeremy came down wearing matching clothes. Of course everyone thought they looked so good, and had to comment that they still can't believe how much Logan looks like his Dad. I loved having Jeremy sitting by me during sacrament. I keep praying that this will become a permant thing!

Ultra Sound

This last week has been so crazy busy! Then this last weekend we re-arranged this room so I haven't been able to get on the computer until today. Today is the first day of Kylee's spring break, I love it! Even though we all had to go to the dentist today. At least it's warm out. We are going to the park here in a minute.

Anyway, back to what you want to hear. We went to the ultra sound last Monday and the technition told us that before us there were 5 other ladies who were all having girls. So he checked first thing and surprise!, we are having a girl too! I had prepared myself all morning that it could be a girl. I think I really knew and that is why I was preparing myself for it. I am way excited though! It's kind of fun that Logan will be the only boy! He is so adorable! It will be fun to see if this girl looks like me. ( I doubt it though) Now all we have to do is agree on a name! Wish us luck!

Time out!

So here is my question. How in the world do you discipline your child when he does something so unexpected and funny? Logan, as usual, was being mean and rough with Summer. So I asked him, "Logan, do you want a time out?" Usually this works great. The few times he has had a time out, he doesn't like it and learns to say sorry quickly. So usually when I ask him this he says "No, no, no!" Well today he said in a voice that sounded so much like mine (with his brows down and his little finger pointing at me) "Do you want a timeout?" I couldn't help it. I just laughed out loud. So, of course, he laughed. But I had to get serious and tell him not to talk to me that way or he'll be doing that all the time. He's already tried again. It wasn't so funny the second time! Oh I love this age!

Half way there!

I had Kylee (cause Jeremy would gripe) take these pictures. Don't think I'm vain, I put both cause you can see my belly better in the second picture but my face looks better in the first. Alright, quit laughing!
I feel big already, but I am determined to enjoy this. It's my last one! Time has gone by fast though. I can't believe I am finding out next week what I'm having.

Again, I just love this age. He is trying to do and say new things all day everyday. Today he found Kylee's soccer shin guards and tried it on. He hasn't seen her wear them since last fall. I couldn't believe he remembered how to put them on. What a cutie!
I think my favorite thing he does lately is wave really excitedly and say "Hi" to everyone he sees. Most people smile and wave back. Sometimes I'm embarrassed but I smile too. What a cute little squirt. Most people will stop me to talk about Summer's beautiful red hair. Maybe he just wanted some attention too.

I also wanted to tell a cute little thing Summer did. This was a month or so ago, but I keep being reminded how much we as parents affect our kids. Jeremy was sitting on the floor with his back against the couch watching t.v. and Summer was sitting by him. I kept hearing her giggle once in a while but wasn't paying attention until Jeremy said to watch. Then I noticed her give him a quick hug. Jeremy just smiled at her and then me and she noticed that I saw, so she whispered to me (extremely loud of course) "He smiles when I do that!"

I realized, and even more now, that I need to show them those little things that let them know they are loved. We read a lot in our house, but lately it's mostly just us listening to Kylee read her book for homework. So yesterday I borrowed some cute Vegietales books from a friend and I read one to all three kids. It was so fun! They were laughing at my funny voices, and after they all wanted another one. I decided to save them and read one every day. I'm excited to read the next one today when Kylee is done with her homework. I love my kids and I am thankful that they, and my Heavenly Father are so patient with me. I know what I need to work on, in that regard, right now and I know that if I ask for help everyday, I will be a better mother. Thank you to all my family and friends who help me with this also.

Finally done

This door in the corner is a gun closet. Jer has the deadbolt key lock for it, he just needs to install it. Someday!

So after a couple years, our sewing-computer room floor is finally done. Jeremy had a friend help us to get the tile done, and Jeremy (with direction from his grandpa Butler) cut all the pieces of oak for the outside perimeter. Then he installed, sanded and stained it. I think it looks great. Now we need to repaint the blue walls (we still aren't sure what color) Put up a cool elk border, change the molding around the door to wood color and get floor molding for the whole room. Then build new shelves on one wall to hold all our stuff. Especially my sewing and scrap booking stuff that has been in the hallway forever. That sure sounds like a lot to do, huh. Oh well, we have time! We aren't going anywhere soon.

Ring around the rosies

You can see Summer right above Katlyn's head exercising next to my friend Joelle. Usually she is no where near us, playing (usually dog or something), but she stayed while we did the whole floor exercise. How funny.
I just thought it was so cute when my friend Tiffany's kids, Katlyn and Logan, started playing ring around the Rosie's, my Logan wanted to too. They let him and were all laughing as they did it. We were at the church exercising. I had to sit a lot and of course they did this at a time when I could join in. I hurried though, my thigh's need help cause pregnancy tend to make them huge!
