Rock Band

So I have a new obsession. Jeremy finally talked me into getting a wii, then of course we had to get rock band. When we were at Jeremy's parents house I tried the drums, and did o-k, but was too nervous to try the guitar. (Especially in front of all of his brothers) So, while Jeremy was at work, I tried it. I have to admit. I'm pretty good! It is so much fun! I've even graduated from easy to medium. Lately, when Jenna is napping I sit to play a few songs. But this morning I woke up with a kink in my neck and after playing, again, I realized I didn't sleep wrong. It's from playing. I guess I either better start stretching before and after playing, or give it a break for a couple day's. Hmm. I think I'll go with stretching. I need to beat Jeremy's score on "Dirty little secret".

The kids love it too. Logan and Summer just pretend to play and sing, but Kylee sings really well. She remembers words and stays on tune. I would like to give her piano lessons. I think music could be a talent of hers. Summer too actually. She remembers words too and sings when I play.

Jenna went to Sacrament for the first time this Sunday. Our friends the Callaway's held her the whole time, (so did Kylee. Their youngest was in my beehive class when I taught. She's now a mia-maid) and she didn't make a peep. This dress looks like a blessing dress, but it's not. Her blessing dress my mom made and is much more beautiful. Speaking of blessing, I'd better arrange to have her blessed. We have a new bishop. I love him and his wife, Celesta. But our old bishop blessed Logan. I sure love his family too. I might ask him to bless Jenna.

Mona Reservoir

This week Tiffany and I took the kids to Mona Reservoir to play in the water. Its so nice because there is no one else there. The water is not as murky as Salem pond and it stays shallow for quite a while. The kids had fun and we got to just sit and relax.

Wednesday was the first day of school. Kylee was so excited. She picked her favorite outfit, and was so excited to bring her new backpack. She says her teacher Ms. Moore is so nice. (I forgot to take a picture before she left, so I took one when she got home.)

Logan and Summer were so excited for her to get home.
This is the outfit she wore the second day. I think its so cute. (She likes to do pig tails in her hair, by herself, and she told me that her teacher asked her who did her hair. She told her that she did and her teacher said it looked so good. She was so proud of herself)

I went to my neighbor, Elisha, to get a lesson on cutting Logan's hair. She did it so fast and good. I hope I can do it that good. We'll see. He loves getting his picture taken. He is so cheesy.

He laughed so hard when she tried to eat his lips!

I just thought this was cute.

I love baby feet. I think I took a pretty good picture. Kinda professional. (There's a first time for everything, or as Jeremy would say "The sun shines on a dogs *** every once in a while." I hope that didn't offend anyone. I'm getting way to used to his language!)

Jenna

I just love to watch a newborn when they are awake, so for those of you who like that too, here's a quick video. Just ignore my voice. I sound like such a geek.

Salem Pond

I have felt so couped in for months now. When I was pregnant, it was too hot to go out. Then Jenna was born and I'm afraid to take her many places. So last minute decision on Friday we went to Salem Pond. I love it there. It only takes 10 or so minutes to get there, and there are big shade trees everywhere, and benches and tables, and lots of grass. The pond is pretty murky, but sometimes you can see really big fish. There is usually always ducks too. I forgot to get pictures of the kids feeding the ducks. Next time.
The playground is pretty fun too.

She just slept in my arms the whole time.

Summer tried this first and Kylee had to do it too. (Doesn't that seem kind of backwards!)

More stinkin' cute pictures!

I can't help but take pictures of her all the time! It is so fun to watch a newborn. She stays awake 2 sometimes 3 times during the day for like an hour or 2. And she just sits there and looks around. Logan never did that. He always just cried! Jenna has been such a good baby. (Knock on wood!)

This is the kids doll cradle. I decided I needed something to put her in when we are in the living room. She is just the right size!
I had to buy this shirt. (Only $3 at Walmart) Sorry Jeremy, she's not a boy!
She was trying to eat my leg! Her first bath.
The bishops wife, Celesta, made this cute towel. I love it!
This was right after her bath. Holy cow, she is so cute!

At the doctor, on Monday, right after we weighed her, I layed her on the table and she didn't cry. She just sat there like this. I had to take a picture. It was so funny.

By the way she weighed 6 lbs. 9. oz. She gained 5 oz. Better than nothing that's for sure. I took her back on Friday and she gained another oz. Yeah!

Catching up!

So here are some pictures I didn't get posted before Jenna was born.
This is just the cutest thing ever to me. I was in the kitchen getting ready for us to go somewhere and I come around the corner and this is what I see. Jeremy had already used the water bottle and brushed Summer's hair and put it in a ponytail, brushed Logan's hair (cause he said "My turn") and was doing Kylee's. No wonder I'm still so in love with him.
This is my sister Cat's new dog, Zoey. She is a miniature Chihuahua. She is so dang cute. And the little girl is Alexia, Cat's boyfriends daughter. She is also so dang cute!
Cat is starting to show. What cute tummies! This was only 3 days before Jenna was born. We were at my Mom and Dads watching fireworks. Jeremy even came and had fun.
Cute little brats! Just kidding.
Update

She just sat here for about an hour just looking around. She hardly ever cries. What a good girl.

Jenna's jaundice did get worse so they sent some billi lights to our house. She did good in there but I didn't get any sleep for two days. Last night was great. She went to sleep at 11 and only woke up at 5 to eat, and slept in until 8.

This is how Logan came down from his nap. Those are socks on his hands. He's so funny!
