The Party

We had so much fun! We look forward to the ward party every year. Anyone who wants to can bring Chili and we all share. I brought my easy Chili and I made, for the first time, a pumpkin roll with the cream cheese filling. It was so yummy. You can see the plate of it on the table above Logan's head. It was the first desert gone! (Sorry I was bragging for a minute!) They loved the games. They had a cake walk (where you go in a circle to music and stop on a number when the music stops), fishing, face painting, a spook alley and the donut contest. That was their favorite of course.

We had to tell them to use their hands or we would have been there all day.

These are Logan and Summers friends Logan and Katlyn that I always talk about. Tiffany and Ross helped me so much by letting Logan hang out with them while I held Jenna and watched the girls.

I know, scary. But Jenna is sure cute!

Ahh!

Such good friends.

I wish Jer would have come.

We have quite a few people on the fire department in our ward so we got to have a real firetruck at our trunk or treat. Logan was scared at first to go in it, but Tiffany talked him into it. What a fun night!

I love Halloween!

Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday, but I love this time of year. I love the colors outside, the weather and the food of course. We were so lucky and were given lots of pumpkins this year so the other day we painted them (I wasn't in the mood for carving) I forgot to take pictures while they painted. They were so cute though. Logan had on Kylee's big painting t-shirt. Anyway here are the pumpkins. Mine is on the ground.

Our ward Halloween party was Tuesday night so we got our costumes all ready. What an adorable fireman. Do you like his clothes? Thanks to Tiffany who had yellow tape, I think they turned out great. I love the dollar store. One dollar for the hat and another one for the ax, badge and a whistle and crowbar. So cute.

Kylee was so excited to be a cheerleader and Summer is a fairy princess. Summers purple princess stuff was only two dollars at the dollar store and so was Kylee's hair. My good friend Joelle let us use the cheer leading outfit. Jenna is a cat I think, I just liked the costume. Its warm and was a great price at Walmart.

My girls!

Then everyone had to do somersaults. So silly.

Kylee did a cartwheel (sp?)

7 Random/weird things about me

I had a really hard time coming up with things, but here it goes.

1.When I first learned to crawl, I crawled backwards.

2. When I was about 10 or so, we still lived in Alpine and I loved going with any boy who would go with me to play baseball at the school 3 houses down. One time I went with two brothers and one swung his heavy metal bat while the other was too close and whacked him right in the cheek. His cheek cut open and was bleeding. Since I was the oldest there I grabbed his cheek to help stop the bleeding and walked him a couple of blocks home. I was so proud of myself for helping and not getting sick. I don't remember but I'm sure he got a couple of stitches.
3. In tenth grade I had a wart start to grow on my right ring finger, right next to and under the nail. I went through so much to try to get rid of it. We tried freezing it, and I even went to the hospital in a surgery room and had my nail cut off so they could try to laser it off (the aftermath of that hurt the very most) But those didn't work. Finally I went to a dermatologist and they used acid paper to kill it. The wart is still gone but my finger looks retarded. At least its not my left hand.
4. I love dead things! I know that sounds gross, but what I mean is that I never knew, until I married Jeremy, that I love to decorate with Elk. We have two European mounts in the house and two in the garage. Someday, when we can afford it, we'll have a full head mount. I also love the look of wood, etc. I would live in a cabin if I could.
5. I love to do laundry. I think I've mentioned that before. It's weird huh? I just love that I have total control over it and when I'm done, it looks so organized. Its about the only place in the entire house that gets totally organized at least two times a week. Everywhere else, not so much.
6. I think I have cute feet. Most peoples feet are so funny, but I think mine are cute. (How vain!)
One more, this is hard!
7. Everyone already knows this but, I love to read. Right now I am reading the Eragon books. I love them. So I'm going to hurry and post this and go read!
Anyone who wants to do this is tagged!

Catching up again!

It feels good to be back in the world of blogging! For those of you who need it here is my new home phone number, 754-3503. So here is whats been going on lately.

Last weekend Jeremy went to the cabin again, one last hunt and to bring down the horses for the winter. I talked him into bringing Logan and the camera. They had fun. Logan was so excited to go with Daddy in the big truck. (I also had fun having a little break from him!) While they were gone, I picked up Mom and went to Willard, Utah (North of Ogden) to my Mom's Uncle Bob's house (he's her uncle even though he is about the same age as her) for a big birthday party for my Grandma Williams. She turned 89. My mom took pictures so I'll see if she will e-mail them to me to put on here. Any way, here is Jeremy and Logan's adventures.

Jeremy's Uncle David came up with his friend Paul who had a Rhino. Jeremy wishes he had one. Logan loved riding on it!

How do you like his purple snow pants. We should try to get him some boy ones.

They finished the walls in the cabin I guess. I think these are Elk that Uncle David shot.

Logan, just chillin'. He was probably watching a movie on the t.v. Jeremy brought up there.

I named Jeremy's horse Harvest. Only I'm the only one that calls her that. Jeremy just calls her the Arabian. I think its a cute name.

On Friday I took the kids to the Red Barn here in Santaquin with my friend Tiffany and her kids, to go on a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. We had fun. Afterwords we ate a donut, Yummy!

Logan loves tractors. So I let him sit on this one for a minute.

Here are some fun ones of my cute little baby girl. I even got some good ones of Jer. (Did you notice how smiley he was up at the cabin. When I'm not there he quits being stubborn and just is himself. The big turd!)

I finally got her dimple! It's on her upper right cheek, its kind of hard to see. I just love it. It's also there when she cries. How cute!

I went to my sister Christine's house a couple of Friday's ago to help her can tomatoes. We had fun! She let me use her sling to hold Jenna for a while. Jenna really liked it!

Logan just makes me laugh. He loved this helmet, of course he wore it while he was pushing around a shopping cart!

He came upstairs the other day wearing this old purse of mine that he had filled with toys, sat down and pulled out the Barbie phone and called someone. Jeremy saw him and told him "Logan, boys down have purses" Logan just looked at him like, what are you talking about. All of you who only have boys, just know that if you had girl toys all over your house, your boy would play with them too! I think its so funny!

Now I'm Private

I sure hope I contacted everyone to see my blog. If your reading this now, I guess you got the e-mail! He, He! So I didn't explain myself well. The reason I went private was because some rude person that was getting pranked by my old phone number, looked us up online, found my blog and was writing my personal information (including my innocent childrens names) on the comment board. I couldn't believe someone could be so rude.

So if you talk to anyone that wants to be invited to read my blog, have them send me an e-mail at jercelksl5@msn.com!

Going private

We have been having problems with our old Orem phone number. Someone is using it and calling people in California, Nevada and New York, probably other places too, and trying to sell warranties for cars. When they call back it says that phone number is disconnected, so they go online, find our new number and call us. It has been a big pain for a couple of days. So next Friday I am going to go private. If you want to be able to view my blog, please put your e-mail address in the comment section and I will add you to the list of viewers. If you know I have your e-mail address, don't worry about it, I will add you. Also as of Friday we will have a new home phone number. Once I've made this private, I will post it. What a pain, huh!

New Clothes

Girls are so picky! I always new that but Kylee reminded me of it yesterday. I had just got Summer off to preschool and was at Walmart doing some shopping when Kylee called me from school. Someone had ran into her and spilled their lunch tray all over her and she needed a change of clothes. So instead of going home and getting clothes, I found a shirt for 3.50 and some pants for 6.50 and brought them to her. When I saw her I couldn't even tell she was dirty until she came real close. She could have finished the day in those clothes and changed when she got home, but no, she needed clothes now. Oh, well. I might as well get used to it now. This is just the beginning!

The first phase!

So, Kylee started the first phase of her orthodontic treatment on Monday. She got four brackets put on her bottom front teeth and one on the two bottom back molars. There is a wire connecting the front ones and will extent to the back brackets once her front teeth are grown in all the way and straight. Then they will put in some sort of spring that will widen her lower jaw. Next they will put in a palate expander in the roof of her mouth to widen her upper jaw. Once there is room for all of her permanent teeth to grow in she will get the appliances taken out and we'll wait to get her full braces when all her teeth are in.
I am so excited for her! She is so beautiful and having straight teeth will only help. She loves them. She was nervous to get them on, but after said "That wasn't bad at all" She couldn't wait to show everyone at school. And everyone else since then. What a cutie!

I needed to make dinner, but Jenna needed to be held. Kylee loves holding her. She volunteers so fast. And Jenna loves Kylee. What would I do with out her?

Jeremy is still out of town, and I couldn't help myself. I got tired of waiting for him to fill in the holes on the white trim. So I did it. Only where the bed goes, but that's all I needed. I filled them in with putty, sanded it, painted it, and put the bunk bed together. I also hung the curtains, and little pink flowers that hold them open! I love their room! It looks so much bigger. I'm probably going to put Jenna's crib in their room. Their room is bigger than Logan's and they won't bug her like Logan would. I have a month or two to move things around. She is still in her bassinet in my room for now.

When Jeremy gets home, I'll have him put the desk up that goes under the bunk, next to the lower bed. Kylee can't wait to do homework there. (I think she'll still do it in the living room by me, personally, but whatever)

Husband Tag

I loved my friend Melanie's post about her husband so I decided to do it too. I love this picture! I need to get a better one of his face but he hates getting his picture taken and always hides. I'll get him sometime. He is gone hunting right now for a whole week. I miss him. I'll be so glad when he gets back.

1. Where did you meet? We were both working at JCPenney, Me in the Men's department, and him in the stock room. I had just broke up with someone else that worked there, and I asked him to ask me out. So he helped me move from my apt. back home and we went to see Rush Hour.

2.How long did you date before you got married? We started dating in Nov. of 1998 and I showed him a ring I liked in December. He asked me to marry him at Temple square on New Years Eve. We were married July 10, 1999, 8 months after our first date.

3. How long have you been married? 9 years and 3 months. I can't believe it's almost been a decade. It's been the best years of my life!

4. What does he do that surprises you? He is really organized. Before we moved into our house and we had no room, he left cluttered messes everywhere. I did too. But now that we have a little more room, every once in a while he organizes one area at a time. The garage is very organized and he goes through his papers by the phone once in while and files them or shreds them. He even organizes the play room once in a while. ( He does still leave his dirty clothes on the floor though. Oh, well)

5. What is your favorite feature of his? That is a hard one. Probably his lips and beard. I love to kiss him, but he doesn't let me as often as I would like. I love every other bit of him too. Butt, thighs, belly, chest, shoulders, you get the point.

6. What is your favorite quality of his? I absolutely love that he is dependable. If he says he will do something, he does it. He never takes days off work for no reason. He plans ahead and is very punctual.

7.Does he have a nickname for you? No. I call him honey and Jer, but once and a while he says Celeste and I love to hear it. Usually he just says "Hey". It's not as mean as it sounds.

8. What is his favorite color? I think it is blue like me. I haven't asked him for a while. He wears a lot of blue T-shirts.

9. What is his favorite food? I don't think anything I make is his favorite, even though he doesn't complain. He loves to eat out. He loves Red Robin, Costa Vida, and California Pizza Kitchen.

10. What is his favorite sport? Of course football, especially BYU. But he likes to watch the World Series, and some basketball games, and he likes golf if it's someone we know like Tiger Woods, or Vijah Sing(Sp?)

11. When and where was your first kiss? I can't remember exactly when but it was sometime in the first month of dating, we were standing just inside my front door and he was leaving. He was giving me a hug and he leaned back and tipped his head sideways and just looked at me for a minute. Then he finally leaned in for the kiss. It was so cute.

12.What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Other than the things that I can't talk about, we love to watch t.v. together. Isn't that boring! But I love it. (A lot of times I read while he watches sports) I love to go to football games with him, and go camping on our property. I love to be out with him when he is doing yard work. Pretty much anytime I'm with him, I'm happy.

13. Do you have any children? Yes we do. 4 miniature Jeremy's. That's what every says. Although I think Summer and Jenna are a little more like me. But Kylee and Logan have no chance.

14. Does he have a hidden talent? One thing is that he has an incredible memory. I swear he remembers every phone number he has ever heard. He remembers so many little details about everything. He also is very good with his hands. I mean at building and fixing things. (What were you thinking?) Our T.V. in our room is sitting on a cabinet that he built with his Grandpa Butler. It is so nice!

15. How old is he? He is 35. He was seven when I was born. My parents were married on his first birthday and he has 3 younger siblings that are older than me. This surprises most people. He doesn't look that old and he definitely act young. Don't most guys?

16. Who said I love you first? I have no idea. Isn't that horrible! I'll have to ask him. He'll probably say "Who cares?" He's such a booger.

17. What do you admire most about him? I admire that he doesn't care what other people think. He just does what he wants anyway. And I love how much he loves his kids. They sure love him!

18. Do you think he will read this? I know he won't, so I will tell him to!

Doctor's visit

This is an old picture, but I thought it was cute.
I took Jenna and Summer to the doctor last week. It was Summers 5 year check-up, and she weighs 42 lbs. She is in the 80th percentile for height! My doctor tells me that my kids are lucky to be tall and skinny. She had to have 4 shots though. She kept saying she didn't want to, but she was so brave. She picked a sparkly braclet from the prize box and was showing everyone all day.

Jenna was only 2 oz. shy of 10 lbs. I was so dang proud. She went from the 7th percentile to the 26th! What a good girl!. She is also very tall. She grew 3 in. since her two week check-up. The doctor liked her double chin. She had to have shots too of course and was very sore the rest of the night, but was fine the next day.

Smiles

Jenna started smiling this last week. I caught a few cute ones. I was never fast enough, though, to get her dimple on her upper right cheek. I'll have to try when Jeremy is making her smile. She smiled huge at him yesterday and he was so proud.

She loves Logan. He has made her smile a lot. She has smiled a couple of times at the girls and they are always so excited to tell me.

I love my little girl!
