Sibling love!

After all the fights all of the time, I love it when they do things nice for each other! I guess all the trying to teach them will eventually pay off. I hope!
We had gone for a walk in the stroller and I guess it was still a little too chilly for no jackets. I was walking so I was warm, and I gave my jacket to Summer. When we got in she was wearing it, and Logan said he was cold, and sat by her. So she wrapped him up with her to stay warm. So cute.

Jenna's first time in the stroller. I think she could get used to this.

Logan poured pretzels for Kylee, Summer and himself. He got out three bowls, and poured all by himself. There was a few on the counter and the floor, and salt everywhere, but that didn't matter. It was so cute to see him say "Girls, pretzels."

I finally got him to nap one day last week. He only naps once in while now. He must have heard Jenna making noise, and came out of his room but was too tired to go on. He fell back asleep at the top of the stairs. I had been up giving Jenna her binky just 2 minutes before and was going back up to get her when I almost stepped on him. He stayed asleep for me to step over, get Jenna and go get the camera and take a picture. 30 min. or so later he came down.

More crazy fun at the Ovards

I love when they have fun together without fighting. Logan thought this was so cool.So did Jenna

Then they had horsey rides!

Can't be on a horse without the cowboy hat.
I found another way to keep Jenna happy while I workout. She loves sitting in the stroller.

We got to go up to our cabin by Morgan and Henefer Utah this weekend. It was so much fun. the sun came out and it wasn't to cold. Logan went on a couple really long four wheeler rides with Jeremy and loved it. He could ride it all day long. How spoiled though. When we weren't outside, we put on movies for the kids. We know how to keep them still in a small room! Jeremy did most of the cooking. It was so nice and yummy too!

What a ham.
Wide awake while we watched a movie at around 8 pm.

Jenna had a hard time getting used to sleeping wherever. She's so used to only sleeping in her bed. It was nice when she finally fell asleep. The first night she was up until we turned out the lights and went to bed at 9:30. That's 2 and a half hours past her usual bedtime.

They were gone an hour the first time cause they stopped to look for Elk and deer. I took the girls on a ride after.

Such a nice day!

I like these rare days of sunshine. I wore Capri's and a short sleeved shirt today. Summer got to fly a kite and Logan loved watching. Then he played with his new $1 motorcycles, and they blew bubbles!

Later we colored eggs. I know its late but they liked it anyway!

Logan got this map from Grandma for his birthday. He loves it! Thanks uncle Austin for some of the artwork!

Jeremy's family property, we call the ranch is by lost creek reservoir. We are going to go there this weekend.

Daddy's work!

We love BYU!

Our house. I wish it really was a single home. It looks good that way! I didn't get a picture of the Wendy's. Logan calls it the chicken store. Kinda like the bank is the sucker store.

Easter

I really like Easter. I love that there are starting to be warm days and blossoms and I love remembering the Saviors atonement. I do have a very hard time with commercialism (did I just use that big word?!) Anyway, I have a hard time with that with every holiday. Including birthdays. But I think we did good this year!
We had our egg hunt on Saturday morning because church is at 9 and I knew we'd never have time. They had fun!

Jenna just layed here by me for like 30 min. Saturday night. It was so dang cute.
We went to Corben's baptism today. It was so fun. Jenna still won't let anyone hold her though. Oh, well. I don't mind holding her!
Last year we made these scripture Easter cookies and they didn't turn out very well. But this year, it went great! There are only 4 ingredients, vinegar, eggs, sugar and pecans. I did the pecans last year and like it better without, but with each ingredient you read a scripture and talk about how Jesus died and then put the cookies in the oven (tomb) and seal it with tape. The next morning they look like this, and they are hollow in the middle like the empty tomb. Then you read how Jesus was resurrected. Even Logan sat and listened and helped with the mixer, etc. It turned out so good. The cookies taste like hard icing, which I love! Let me know if anyone wants the instructions. I'll type it up.Sunday Morning

Jenna sat in her bath chair for the first time Sunday night. She loved it! What a cutie!

Crazy day!

Kylee took some more pictures while I was grinding wheat the other day. Not bad!

Yesterday was a crazy day. It seemed to start out normal. I worked out and showered and was planning to head to Walmart then home for lunch in time to pick up Kylee from school for her dentist appointment. I stopped by Cynthia's on the way to get some clothes and Jenna cried when Cynthia talked to her, but I realized by the time I got to Walmart that it could have been partly cause she had totally pooped up her back! It was the biggest mess! So I brought her in Walmart in only a diaper and a blanket and picked out a new outfit and put it on her. The tag was on the sleeve and she kept trying to eat it until it finally came off. (I found out today when I changed her that she did eat some!) Then when I was checking out, Kylee called to say that her wire came off on her braces. So I went to get her and take her to the Orthodontist, then we didn't have time to go home for lunch so we had to eat at Wendy's (Oh how sad!) then went right to the dentist to get two more teeth pulled! Kylee did awesome though. She said she didn't even feel it! What a good girl.

Things were much better when we got home. The kids got to play outside for a while, and I got to enjoy my pretty tulips. I'm so proud of them!

Well Logan just fell asleep on my bed with a little fever and Kylee just called saying her wire came out again! And I have to go get Summer from school here in a couple minutes. I decided the older your kids get, the busier you are. I might as well get used to it! Wish me luck!

Sorry to complain

So anyone reading this who has a spouse will probably understand this. Most husbands don't notice when their wives do what they are "supposed" to do, right? After ten years, I expect that he won't notice when I do all the laundry in one day, the dishes, the vacuuming, change the sheets and have dinner ready by 5:30 (all while also working out, getting kids to or from school, feeding them breakfast and lunch and nursing every two hours) I know he won't notice and especially not say anything.
But when you do all of that, and he decides to complain about the messy house (toys on the floor, crumbs from lunch and of course his jackets all over the place) and then after mentioning last Friday that his stinky basketball underwear will need to be clean by Tuesday and then on Tuesday saying "I bet my underwear aren't clean", your about ready to scream! Of course I'm sarcastic right back and say "No, I've only been doing laundry for 3 day's, but their not clean".
AHHH!
Later he hears me telling Kylee after I caught her in a little lie, that she should probably think about it and think of how to fix it, and he tells me that I shouldn't tell her that. The way he says it makes me feel that he is criticising my Mothering skills and of course I get all defensive. So I throw a little tantrum and rant about all the rude things he has said lately and keep watching t.v. when he wants to sleep. (It was only 9:30, not a huge deal compared to how he stays up till 11 every other night)
Anyway, I think I got it all out of my system. Now I can get over it, tell him sorry for throwing a fit, and keeping him awake and go back to our regular routine of me being Mrs. Housewife, and not getting any thanks for it. I don't mind that really, as long as he doesn't start complaining again.
Moral: If you have a husband who regularly or even not so regularly tells you thank you for anything, BE GRATEFUL!
P.S. I really love Jeremy. He's actually been really good lately, I just needed to vent.
