Catching up

I have a couple hundred pictures of the last couple weeks, but here are a few.
On Thurs. the 25th we left right after Jeremy got off work to drive to Nevada. The drive actually wasn't too bad. We got there at 12:30 am Utah time. On Saturday, Jeremy's brother Jordan was married (by another brother Brady) to Rachel! We are so excited to have another sister in the family.

Having a blast on the dance floor! They wore themselves right out.

Cousins! Connor 3, Jackson 2 and Logan 3.

On Sunday after church, we went on a drive around Lake Tahoe. I love to look at the lake. It's so blue. We stopped in a couple of places to look and take pictures.
These flowers were on a public dock. Aren't they pretty.
Jeremy actually went out and played catch with Kylee! It was so cute! On Monday he went with us swimming and on Tuesday we went to Virginia City and rode a train and trolley. It was so fun!

For some reason Jeremy doesn't think it's a big deal, but I think he's amazing! Jeremy made Kylee this bed! It's perfect. Some time he will make Summer one to match, and we will paint them both white.
What a pose!

June 21st was not only Father's Day, but Jeremy's Birthday as well. The kids had so much fun getting gifts, making cards and helping decide what color to make the frosting. I think he had a good day!

So there you have it. And we will still be here in Nevada until Sunday! I'm sure I'll have many more pictures before we get back.

My Birthday!

I had such a fun weekend! Friday night I went to my cousin Nikki Hayes' wedding reception in West Haven, (by Roy). She is such a beautiful and sweet and sincere girl. She married Anthony Weitzel and he seems to be a perfect match! Congratulations you two.
.
Then my mom and dad took us to Burger King and the kids had a blast playing on the slide. The next day we just chilled. Mom made me a yummy breakfast. Jeremy came and picked up the big screen and I gave him crap about him not saying Happy Birthday. He called after to tell me that he has to give me a hard time. I guess that's part of being a man. He makes me laugh!

These are the only pictures I took on Saturday. What cute kids though. This was on the way to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It is so beautiful! About an hour before we left to go, it started pouring rain. We heard the biggest crack of thunder and the lights went out for about ten seconds. Later we found out that lightening had hit the Angel Moroni! We saw his arm all black. Crazy huh!

Jenna has been using her new car seat. I think its so cute. And she can use it until she's 3 or so. The only thing is that I can't see her anymore when I'm driving. she used to be able to look back at me. Oh well.

So Jeremy surprised me again! He bought me flowers, balloons, and this cute sentsy candle. I love it! What a sweety. After all the crap he gave me earlier. I love him!

This is Jeremy's new car! We love it! We are so thankful for the little truck his mom and dad gave him that has saved us for a lot of years, but are glad that he has something more dependable, and that he doesn't have to add oil to weekly!

Yesterday Kylee said there was a huge bug on the window. I thought she was being dramatic, until I looked. Holy cow! This is the biggest moth I've ever seen! It stayed all night and is still there today. I think it's cool. So do all of the neighbor kids!

Me time!

Last Christmas Jeremy gave me a certificate to get a free 1 hr dream massage and a dream facial at a day spa in Payson. I finally used it on Saturday! I have never had a professional message before or a facial and I have to say, it was amazing! I loved every second of it! And then, the new receptionist accidentally charged to much, and I got to come back and get a free mini pedicure. What a day!
.
Later we went to Provo to get the nuts tightened on our new wheels on our van and I dropped my new ring off to get sized again. We happened to walk by the video game store and saw the new Wii Active game. Jeremy got it for me! It has been fun! It has a 30 day challenge where you work out 5 day's out of 7, and keep track of how you eat and how much water you drink and if you do any other exercise or housework. I'm excited to keep it up!
.
.
Then we ate at Winger's. We haven't eaten out for a while, so it was fun!

.
Jenna ate at lest 8 graham cracker squares.

Jeremy knew I had the camera out so of course he has to act totally bored. What a nerd.

More tricks by Jenna. On the way home from workout, I didn't put Jenna's seat belt on since Kylee was sitting by her. She decided to be a monkey. She grabbed the bar and pulled her self to the top. She loved hanging backwards and sticking her tummy in the air. She is so dang cute!

Jenna's new trick

Jenna decided this week that her toes taste good. She can even suck on them when she is sitting up on the floor. So funny!

She was really tired and cranky at the park yesterday, so I gave her the whole can of her treats. It kept her happy for at least 20 minutes. So I gave it to her again today (so I could play rock band 2 with Kylee) She dumped them all on the floor and was playing in the crumbs.

Loving the moments

I think it all started when I got pregnant with Jenna. I knew she would be my last baby, and my outlook on life changed. Since then I have noticed me enjoying so many more minutes of all of my kids lives, than I did before. Here are a few things.

Watching Jenna use her new teeth. She makes the cutest faces.

Jenna watching Logan.

Just enjoying being outside.

You can just tell that she loves her sister. I am so proud of Summer. Before preschool ended, they gave her her first set of sight words. It took her a while to remember any of them, and I didn't practice with her enough. But we decided to read 20 minutes everyday this Summer and today I asked Summer to help read some words. She did awesome! So I found some first reader books that Aunt Jennie gave us (Jeremy's sister who is a teacher in Las Vegas. Thank you Jennie!) and she did awesome. So we will read everyday and I bet she will be reading before Kindergarten!
It's so fun to see how different Summer and Kylee are from each other. They are both so smart, but they learn so different from each other. I think so many more things go through Summers head. Kylee is direct and to the point. They both come to the same conclusions, but on a very different route. It is so fun to watch.

Kylee is doing so well on her bike. We have gone on lots of rides together, me pulling the other kids in the bike trailer. Jenna finally likes it!

Turning on the sprinklers.

Logan finally went down the big twisty slide by himself! He is so proud. (Don't you love the holes in his shoes? He drags his feet when he rides his little car thing. So funny. Now his socks are getting holes in the same place!)

Jenna's first ride in a swing!

I love to watch her drink from my water bottle. About 10 minutes after I took this, it started sprinkling, then it got harder and harder. We stayed under our pine tree and it started hailing! Finally we made a run for it. I covered Jenna with a big blanket and ran to the car to get the umbrella, then went back and got Logan under the blanket. The girls used the umbrella. We were laughing when we got in the car soaked!
