Jenna's Birthday

I can't believe my baby is 1. This year has flown by. I have really enjoyed every moment with Jenna. I haven't been too rushed to get her to do anything, like I did with the other kids. She still doesn't crawl, and I'm totally ok with that. She is getting to her knees and kind of scooting now. She'll be all over the place soon enough. Her are the highlight pictures of her first year!
She started out so small. 6 lbs. 12 oz (She was my biggest though! He he)
A little Jaundice

Summer bought her a present with her own money. (A princess wand)

It's supposed to be a lady bug. I think it turned out ok.

My first child not afraid to dig in! I didn't even have to coax her.

She loved the bath after!

Dog sitting and the Rodeo

We went to the Spanish Fork Rodeo last year (A few days before Jenna was born) and we loved it, so we've decided to make it a tradition.
.
On our way! (I know, Jenna should be backwards. Her birthday isn't until Tuesday and she is only 17 or 18 lbs. But she's happier facing forward. This is only her second time doing it. I might just leave her forward now.)
We all love riding in the "Big truck"!

Jeremy wore his lace-up cowboy boots! I think he looked so HOT!
It was way windy when we first got there, but by the time it started, it wasn't so bad. It sprinkled for a while, but then it stopped and was perfect the rest of the night. We watched the fireworks from the truck, cause last year we waited too long and tried going home the wrong way, and it took and hour and a half to get home. This time it only took the usual 10 minutes or so. Logan loved the mutun bustin'. (I have no idea how to spell that) He wanted to know if he was going to ride the sheep. And we all loved the bulls! We had a great time!

Our friends Tad and Tami (Tad works with Jeremy) went on a little trip this weekend, so we are dog sitting until Sunday. Jack is a puggle (Pug and Beagle mix) He is so calm and easy going. And way fat! I think he's on a diet. He actually makes me want to have a dog. I just don't want to train one!

Anytime I'm doing something in the kitchen, he lays on the floor like this. I think it's so funny.
.
Jenna isn't even scared of him. He moves so slow and calm.

Rewards! A good one for him and not so good one for me!

This monster truck has been in the cupboard for months, waiting for Logan to poop in the potty. I gave it to him as soon as I heard he'd done it. I went in to open his window and found him sleeping with it. So funny. Except, I noticed a yucky smell when I walked in. Yep, he'd pooped again. Let me tell you it is not fun to change a sleepy boy. He struggled and ended up having to get in the bathtub. Oh, well.

Success

HE DID IT!!!

He peed in his underwear a couple of times today, but for the most part he did really good! Then I went to my Enrichment night and an hour and half later, Jeremy called to see when I'd be home. He wouldn't tell me why, he just kept saying hurry home. So a half an hour later I go home ready to clean up some horrific mess, but to my delight, Logan ran up to me saying "Mom, I pooed!" Of course I ask him Where? " In the potty!" Yeah! I am so excited. Even if he waited until I was gone. I hope that by next month, I won't constantly be thinking about someone peeing in my house somewhere. (I hope I didn't just jinx myself)

.

P.S. A big thank you to Jeremy for putting Jenna to bed and not complaining about being with the kids! I love you!

Potty training!

I have been dreading potty training Logan since Summer finally learned. He has known how to do it himself forever, but just hasn't wanted to give up the lazyness of going in a diaper. Well I haven't been ready for all the work that goes with it, until I went to get more diapers this week, and just couldn't afford two big boxes of diapers. And the small packages are just not worth it. It was enough to get me modivated!

Giving him an M&M after he pees in the toilet has been working, so today I wasted almost 8 bucks, and bought this huge bag. He loved the transformers on it!

But he kept peeing in his pull-ups. So I took them off! It's been working all day! He's had a least 10 M&M's. But he is still afraid to poop on the potty. So he decided to do his deed in the toy room! How disgusting! I took away his tractor and told him he could have it back when he goes on the toilet. We'll see how it works.

He was headed back to the toy room to be superman. I better go have him sit on the pot again! A mother's job is never done!

Summer fun!

Here are some of the things we have been up to in the last couple of weeks.
Watching Jeremy play softball. Grandma got to come for a game. She has come as often as she can to spend time with her Mom and Dad in Provo. They are showing lots more signs of aging lately:(

Jenna loves suckers (Kylee likes to share with her in the car) Summer let her have a taste of her ring pop, then she had to go where she couldn't see her cause she wanted more! Last week Kylee helped Jenna eat a dum dum sucker. The whole thing! And she was the first one done, even with Logan biting his! So funny.

Go Daddy!

Swimming in the back yard!

I had to add a bowl of hot water to the pool before Jenna would get in. It's been a busy and very fun Summer. It will be fun when school starts, but we are not in a rush to get back!

It hot Mom!

Jeremy has slept with his garment top off, every Summer since we've been married. It's just too hot for him. I guess Summer noticed for the first time this Summer, cause I noticed her with out a shirt on a couple of weeks ago. Last night I went in to open the girls window and found Summer, with her head at the foot of the bed, and no shirt on, and Kylee I guess wanted to follow her little sister! What funny girls.

Logan went to the dentist for his first real check up today. He seemed nervous at first, but warmed up real fast. The light was too bright so they had him wear sunglasses.
He loved watching Bolt. He has two small cavities in his two front teeth. They suggest nitrus when we get them fixed. I think that might be good. We'll see.

10 YEARS!

July 10, 1999 A barely 19 year old girl, marries a very handsome 26 year old in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple. It was a warm, but beautiful day!

10 years and 4 beautiful children later, they are still in love!

Summer and I were holding his hands down so we could get a picture! Such love!
I'm actually so dang happy, and mad at the same time. Jeremy got me the best present. He got personalized M&M's. It's hard to see, but there are two pictures of us on our wedding day, and two of them say July 10,1999 and 10 years of love. That is why I'm mad. Why couldn't I have thought of something cool like that? Now I don't want to give him the presents I got. Oh, well. I'll come up with something good eventually. I cried when I read the card. It was so simple, but the nicest thing he's done in a long time!

Sometimes it seems like I just married Jeremy, and other times it seems like I've been with him forever and don't know any different. We have both grown and learned to much from each other! I am so thankful for his family too! They have also taught me so much, and have loved me like I have always been a part of them.
I am still so in love with Jeremy. I'll see him walking toward me from a distance and I still get butterflies in my stomach! I plan on always feeling that way. Even in the eternities! I love you Jeremy!

The last capped tooth!

Kylee's poor mouth has grown so weird! Her mouth was too small for all her adult teeth, so we have been widening her mouth. A new tooth was growing in behind her last capped baby molar and pushing it forward. I couldn't find a good picture of it, but it stuck out when she smiled. It's been kind of loose for a while and last night I said, come on just pull it out. So she did! It looks so much better. She has the cutest smile. And her expander will make it even cuter!

Logan is so funny!

I was putting Logan to bed last night, and I had taken off his clothes and changed his diaper, but hadn't gotten his pj's yet. I pinched his little nipple to tease him and asked him "What are these?"

He replied "My feeding Jenna's."

.

I laughed for so long! I forget how much they pay attention to everything!
