It's been weeks!

It has been so long since I've blogged! Right before Thanksgiving I came down with pneumonia. I was knocked off my feet! It was so yucky! Thankfully I caught it in time and didn't need to go to the hospital or anything. I had so much help from friends and family! I am so blessed. Jer even came home from work one day to take care of the house and kids. Let's just say I'm glad to be on my feet!

Thanksgiving was so much fun!! I wish I had pictures. My parents got a church for us to eat at and it was perfect! The kids could run and play. The boys could play basketball and the rest of us could chat. We almost had everyone there too! We sure missed my brother Steven and his family!

The next day, and Saturday I did another craft fair with my friend Anna. It was in Spanish Fork and was so great! I sold quite a bit, but made even more after from orders from people who took my card! I still have a few orders. (In fact I need to get my butt off her and start either crocheting or sewing ;) I love it!The kids had a fun time playing in the snow together. It was kind of fun that I could just bundle them all up and send them outside! There are advantages to them growing up ;) As long as it doesn't happen too fast!
Jenna mostly ate snow, but had so much fun!
We also had fun decorating for Christmas. I love this time of year! I love the lights! My sweet neighbor Sybil helped me put the lights on the house too! I think it looks amazing! I should take a picture.
Best of all though was Jeremy's work Christmas Party! I so look forward to it every year! It is at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, with a delicious catered dinner and entertainment. It is so fun to dress nice and have a night alone with my honey. Jeremy's Mom was in town so she watched the kids. They had a blast without us. I even got Jeremy to walk over to the spot by the temple where he asked me to marry him 12 yrs ago this month!

Kylee took this picture. I love is huge smile! He's smiling because we had to take the picture 3 or four times cause he kept goofing off and pinching me, etc. It was worth it!

We love when Grandma comes!

Yeah! Grandma was here again for the day! We love that she's been able to visit a lot this year! We hope Grandma and Grandpa Butler continue to do o-k, so she will keep coming ;) And great news! She told us she will be here on Dec. 4th, Jer's big work Christmas party, so she will be able to babysit!!! I'm so excited!

Logan had been asking for pancakes for dinner for a while, so we decided to have them this night. Grandma not only brought bacon and hash brown's to go with them, but she brought something even better....

New Jammie's!!! Don't they all look so cute! Thanks Grandma!

After dinner we sat to watch Toy Story 3. Grandma liked it! (It was our 4th or 5th time watching it ;)

It's so funny the places Ginger decides to go to sleep. Here are a few.

The kitchen floor, in front of the bathroom door.

Kylee's lap. Cute.

Under a bat, by some balls and a sock. Hmm. Whatever floats her boat.

Ok, a few of Jenna chillin'.

With Kylee, (she brought these chairs up from the basement by herself ;)

And with Daddy. I love these ones.

Sharing her blanket ;)

Showing the big belly ;)

Dang she's cute!

I love this time of year!

It is so easy to do fun things this time of year! Here are some of the fun things we've been up to.

Of course the Ward Halloween party. Can't miss that!

Reading Halloween books together!

This one we have on a tape to follow the book. We love it!

The school Halloween parade. I love seeing all the different costumes. This year there were quite a few people dressed up as old grandma's and grandpa's. So funny!

Summer's teacher.

She was so excited when she saw me. Silly girl!

Kylee's teacher! He's so funny!

The gypsy.

Playing with the Gypsy costume ;)

Trick or treating ;) They talked me into dressing up again, and this time I cut the hair. So much better!

I think it's so funny that Ginger plays with bugs, eats bugs, and kills mice!

And plays with them! Eww!

So excited for Daddy to be home! I love it!

She made sure I looked at her doing this. She kept yelling "Mom, look!" So cute.

The annual dance festival. It's so fun to see them dance. They love it! I remember doing this as a kid! I loved it too. Kylee got Logan and Jenna to do the mocarena (sp?) with them. They loved it.

New video

I put a new little video at the bottom of my page. When we were at the cabin a few months ago, a nest had been built in the rafters of the porch. There were 5 cute little babies in it and the Mom and Dad bird would come and bring them food. They wouldn't come when we were moving around on the porch, but when we sat still we could watch them. It was so fun. Pause my music and enjoy the cute little chirping.

Some fun pics

The many shoes of Jenna:

I've seen many pictures of kids that love shoes. I've also seen nieces and nephews that do, but Jenna is my first to love shoes. Here's a few of her recent fashion statements.

My other kids have tried them on once in a while, but Jenna does all the time! Here is my favorite one. She's wearing Logan's shoes on her feet, and hers on her hands. What a nerd ;)

Still loves her daddy! She sure missed him when he was gone hunting!

This is the hail storm we had a few weeks ago. I was getting ready to go meet Summer at the bus when it got so loud. I ended up grabbing an umbrella and running to the bus stop. Luckily her driver kept them all on until it slowed down to just pouring rain. It was so crazy!
I guess Ginger missed Jeremy too. This is the night he got back. It's so funny that he lets her do this. He sent me a picture on my phone yesterday of her laying on her back next to him in this chair. So funny!

Still here!

No I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth! I'm still here. I love how busy life is getting. It just leaves no time for some extras.

Things we've been up to:

Selling!! I've sold quite a bit of stuff lately. A few hundred dollars worth! I love it.

School: There is always something going on. Last night we went to a 4H family night. The kids had so much fun sliding and bouncing and eating!

Zumba!! My favorite dance exercise! I LOVE LOVE it! I try to go 4 times a week. I also am running again. I'm going to do my wards 5k in Nov! I'm excited.

Then the usual. Cooking and cleaning. It's never ending, but I don't mind ;)

We are still loving our new kitty too! I know she'll bring great memories just like my kitty Samson did when I was little!

Hunting. Jer was gone 10 whole days! I was sure glad when he got home!

Well, that's basically it. I'll post pics soon. I can't believe Halloween is around the corner. I'll blink and Thanksgiving and Christmas will be over too!

Our new Kitty!

So anyone who knows Jeremy will again wonder what has happened to him. I really like him getting older. He's so much sweeter than he used to be.

A couple of weeks ago this cute kitty jumped up on our brick ledge and meowed in my kitchen window. I went out to see her and saw that she had a collar on. There was no tag though, so I decided to keep her in the back yard for a while and see if anyone lost her.

I asked around, and called our police station and even put her on KSL. But no one claimed her.

One day Jeremy was watching the kids play with her and he told me that that she couldn't come in the house if she hasn't had any shots and she would need to get spayed and I should find a vet.

I was shocked! But so excited. The kids had already gotten attached to her. Kylee started calling her Ginger. She is so sweet and loves the kids. Even Jenna! She has pulled her by the tail a couple of times and she didn't do anything.

Well, a neat thing happened this morning. We hadn't gotten a litter box yet so I had to put her outside again to sleep. I say her this morning before the kids left for school, but when I went to feed her she wasn't here! She must have gotten on the tramp and onto the fence and she was gone! I was so sad. So I decided she couldn't have gone too far, we should go look for her.

Then I realized, like a little kid who lost their shoe, we should pray. So Logan, Jenna and I knelt down and prayed to find our new kitty. Then we walked around our neighborhood. No luck :(

I decided to just go home. Then I looked in the backyard one more time and called her new name, and was in shock when she suddenly was on the fence jumping back in to our yard! We hugged her and knelt right there on the deck to say thank you. It's the first time something like this has ever happened to me. It's so simple, but it was so neat! I know Heavenly Father cares about the little things.

So, today I got a litter box (she obviously has used one before) and tomorrow we are getting shots. (Jeremy let her in when it started raining ;) And next week she will get spayed (for free!) and de-clawed. I just need to get her a name tag with our phone # on it. We don't want to lose our new kitty!

Market on Main!

After planning for months, the Market on Main Boutique in Santaquin finally came! It was so much fun! I sold quite a bit of stuff. I shared a booth with a lady I'm friends with from our Humanitarian group named Anna Wheeler. She is in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. I love her! We had so much fun, we are going to do it again in October.

This is not a great picture, but this is Anna. Last minute I grabbed this mirror and I'm glad I did. I sold some hats and headbands, so I have already made a bunch more. I'm planning on having 20 or so hats done by the next one :)

Anna's stuff is so cute too! Kylee also had fun helping!

Summer is 7!

My little red head turned 7 on the 13th! I can't believe she is that big. She was Jenna's age just yesterday is seems and we just moved into this house. She is so smart, and has such a great imagination! She is in first grade this year and is the oldest in her class. She's also tied with a boy named Cole as the tallest! Mom says she reminds her so much of me as a little girl. I think she looks more like me than Kylee (even with her red hair ;)

She requested this dog cake. I'm not surprised. She loves animals!

I was a little worried at how she would do with school all day, but she is doing great! Mrs. Kelley is so good! She does so many fun things with them, but keeps them in line! I love her! She doesn't love getting her picture taken, but I had to get one! I got to go to the end of Summer's class and read the class her favorite story. "The wide mouthed frog". It was so fun! Happy Birthday my sweet Summer!

School and stuff

Yesterday I was able to go to Provo to watch my Amazing sister Cynthia and her husband Scott come to the finish line of the Utah Half Iron Man race! I can't believe they did this! It is 2 miles swimming in Utah Lake, 53. something miles on bike, and 13.1 miles running! They did it in 7 and 1/2 hrs! I can't even imagine doing something like that for that long! I am so proud of them! I totally got tears in my eyes when I say my sister coming toward the finish line!

Doesn't she look awesome! And she's had 4 kids! I don't think I'll ever do this, but I do hope to run some small races with Cyn someday! She's an inspiration to me!

Here are some more things we've been doing.

I moved the garbage can yesterday and Jenna jumped in the cupboard. What a goof ball.

Logan and Jenna kept busy this morning for an hour or more, quietly playing car together. Jenna has some play keys and Logan would sit by her and they'd drive together. I guess they were pretending to watch movies too. I had to come down to see what was going on cause they never play this quiet together. It was cute!

This picture doesn't do it justice, but I love this new little hat I made! Jenna loves it too and wore it all day!
The first day of school!!!
Last Tuesday the 24th was the first day back to school. I was o-k with them going back, but not way excited to get rid of them like some parents. I love the help they are when their home. I love my kids! But they both were so excited! They both wanted to wear their new dresses for the first day.
We are just far enough away from the school that they ride a bus. I like it because I know the bus driver and I don't have to get the other two in the car and take them and pick them up. It's just easier. I'm glad now that they ride together to, and from school.
After school! And still excited. They couldn't wait to tell me how much fun they had, the food they ate, and how much they like their teachers! Summer's teacher told us during Relief Society today, that she is so tired! I bet! They had such a fun first week!
Here are just a few other things we've been up to.

Chillin' with Dad, listening to music and learning new hand signals ;)
She can't help but peek when I'm taking pictures.

Jenna let me do her hair last Sunday and it actually turned out cute! For those of you who don't know: I don't do hair! And she kept it in all through church!
I love this skirt too! Thank you to those of you who have so generously let me use your kids clothes! And the shoes were only $7 at Payless. And because I bought them, I got Kylee's new church shoes for 1/2 off. Only $5! I love bogo!
