Kylee's end of the year party

I went to the school this morning for Summer's end of year Kindergarten assessment, (which she did awesome!), and ended up getting to help with Kylee's class party! She is so fun to watch with her friends. I forgot to get a picture of her teacher though. I may have to go get one tomorrow. It's the last day!!!!

Logan and Summer had fun making the bookmarks with the kids. Aubrey didn't want her picture taken.
But I got her anyway!

This was the best station! Who doesn't like doughnuts. Hayden's Mom brought this one. (Hayden has his back to us below in a blue shirt. He was on Kylee's soccer team a couple of years ago. I think he is so cute!)

So fun, making such a mess!

Kylee asked if she could take a picture of Landon. I guess he doesn't like getting his picture taken. She was so excited that she got him! (She totally likes him I found out. Her notebook had it written all over it! She's so funny!)

I'm really excited for summer! I can't wait to have the girls home everyday! I'm sure I'll be ready by August though for school to be back in, and I look forward to helping in their classes again!

Jeremy's sofball games!

We LOVE going to see Daddy play softball! I love it because I know Jeremy loves it! His team is pretty good too. They are 5 -1 so far. Last Friday Jeremy's Mom surprised us and said she was in town, so she came to watch. But she got roped into being a pitcher. There was a line of kids. They had so much fun! What an awesome Grandma! The kids were so excited to see her!Logan wouldn't let me help him. He did hit it a little!

Sorry for the gesture! This is totally Jeremy though, so I had to put it in. He laughed right after this, when I told him I got it. That's our old bishop right behind him. I thought it was funny!

Jeremy is really good! Earlier he totally slid to try to get someone out (which he did, but the ump called him safe cause the catcher was blocking him) and he totally skinned his elbow. This game was easier. They won 21-1.

Some other kid had a power wheel there and this was her watching it. She was biting her cheek. She is so dang cute!

Then on Sunday, she decided to sit in the blanket basket. She thought she was pretty amazing!

Summer's grad song

I loved watching Summer sing! She was so excited to show me the songs she's been practicing!

Kindergarten Graduation

This year really has flown by! Time goes faster the older and busier I get. Summer had her graduation program for kindergarten this morning. She was so excited to show me the songs she's been practicing. I did not get teary when she went to kindergarten, but today, watching her with that proud smile, peeking at me every few seconds to make sure I was still watching, I couldn't help but get all choked up and a little teary. Summer is such an imaginative and fun girl. I love all the comments I get on her hair color everywhere we go. I am so glad she is a part of our family!

Ms. Esquerra was also Kylee's teacher. I love her! I got to be room Mom this year and I really loved it. I also got to come and help out once a week. I would love to help out even more in Kylee and Summer's classes next year!

Jenna had a fun day today!

Shaking Mr. Barlow's hand.

Logan really got into the songs. He copied whatever they were doing.

Summer was the tallest in her class. (the front row was her class) She was even close to being the tallest in the whole class. Cole in the orange shirt was barely taller.

I am ready for summer time! I'm glad I'll have the kids home all day. By August though I'm sure I'll be ready for 1st grade!

The best Mother's Day ever!

I admit that Mother's Day used to be one of my least favorite days of the year. Back when the kids were too young to know any better, and Jeremy would treat it like any other day of the year.
.
The last couple of years have gotten better. Mostly because the kids care, and make me cute things at school and at church, but also because Jeremy actually celebrates it a little! He still loves to comment that Mother's Day, like Valentine's Day, is just a way for people to make money. Could be true. But personally, I would love it if he just wrote me a note, or did dishes that day, or make dinner! No money spending necessary! But I got lucky this year!
.
Saturday night Kylee and I stayed up a little late to read together. We read Harry Potter everyday together (we're on #4!) and we'd been to busy to read earlier. After we read, she told me to sleep in tomorrow cause she was making me breakfast in bed. My reply was "yeah right!, like Jenna would let me."Well my sweet little nine year old, very quietly got Jenna out of bed in the morning (I had no idea!), changed her poopy diaper, and made me a toasted bagel, and a bowl of my favorite strawberry granola. I was so surprised and happy!
.
Then the presents came! Kylee and Summer had each made me presents at school or activity days, so Kylee helped Logan and Jenna find a present to give Mom too.

This is from Jenna.
This is from Logan, although I guess he wanted it back, because it's back in his room;)
This is from Summer! Her teacher is awesome. I got one of these when Kylee was in her class too. She asks each kid there favorite food and then writes exactly what they say on how to make it. It is so cute!

Summer said she likes Macaroni and cheese. Here are her instructions.
First you get a pan
Then you put the macaroni and cheese in the pan
Then you put a little box of cheese in
Then you put it on the oven stove
You put some yellow powder in it so the macaroni and cheese can be yellow
Cook it for six minutes
Then when it's done you put some in a bowl and you eat it

So cute!
At school, Kylee made me a cute flower magnet with some coupons for cleaning, etc. Then at her friends activity days she made this cute cup of flower pens! What sweet kids I have! (Boy do I need to dust!)
And Jeremy got me my new best friends! Some nice running shoes! I was saving up for some from the money I've made selling hats, etc, but ended up using it for groceries and gas. What a great surprise to get these! Of course it rained today and is supposed to be rainy tomorrow, but I WILL be trying these babies out soon! I'm so excited!

A little bit of sunshine.

I love this little headband I made! I heard they were a big thing this winter around here, so I made some adult ones, and then made this smaller one. I wish Jenna would keep it on for more than 2 minutes though!

It was so funny! Jenna was playing with her shirt in the car and somehow got her arm out of the sleeve. She thought she was so smart!

My sweet sister Cathryn and her baby Avriela came for a couple of hours on Saturday. It was so fun. I should have taken pictures. When she left though her little Zoe was whining at the door. She misses her mommy. I think she likes it here though. Then my Mommy got to go shop with me and come hang out for a while before I took her home. It was so fun to see her! Jenna loved sitting with her while I made dinner.
I love to watch them learn. Jenna figured out how to twist this lid on and off. She was so proud of herself!

Dad got a new bat. That was pretty exciting to Logan and Jenna!

Zoe, just waiting for someone to play with her.

Jenna got her first haircut on Saturday. When it's dry it hangs down in her eyes. She thought is was fun having mom cut her hair. I trimmed the back, barely, too. Logan got a haircut after too. He needed one so bad! So here is before.

And after. It was too straight across, boy looking, so I did my little blending trick people have taught me, and fixed it after this. I think it looks so much better! I remember having to do this with Kylee too at this age. Their hair is almost exactly the same, except one is red and one was blond.

It was so nice to have a little bit of sunshine on Saturday and Sunday. We got a lot of yard work done, and we finally put up the trampoline! The kids were so excited! On Sunday after church we went out to jump for a while! I love the picture with Logan's hair going everywhere!

She looks scared in most of these pictures, but she was actually posing for me. She loved being on the Trampoline.

I had the best Mothers Day! I'll have to post about that next!

Here's the latest!

Just more fun pictures of what's been going on around the Ovard house!

Jenna's cheesy face! She just started smiling for pictures with a cheesy smile. I love it!

Jeremy has been going to the ranch to help. They put in wood floor, some cabinets, and poured cement for a basketball court! I can't wait to go up there!

We had a fun scavenger hunt for FHE two weeks ago. They all loved it!

Even Jenna.

The treat was in the fridge. Yummy fruit with whip cream with brown sugar in it.

It was so good! Last week I recorded a bunch of sounds on my phone and they had to guess what they were. That was way fun too!

I got to decorate Summer's teachers door for teacher appreciation week. It was way fun!

I got my hair cut.

We got a new, temporary (I hope a long temporary!) member of the family. This is Zoe, my sister's dog. Her appt. doesn't let her have animals so we get to keep her for a while. She is so dang cute. The best part is she's already trained!

Jenna loved her soup the other night, as you can see. It was everywhere! I put her right in the bathtub!

And they got to have cute hair due's while in there! (I didn't even tell them to put their hands there. So funny, and perfect!)

I forgot to take pictures of Jenna in her Christmas dress, so I did yesterday before church. I'm not sure why she's showing me her hands, but I thought is was cute!
