10 YEARS OLD!!!!

Another year has gone so fast! I now have a child in double digits. My sweet Kylee is 10 years old! I couldn't be more thankful that I have my Kylee in my life! She is such a special girl! She's so kind and giving and loving and helpful. I could go on and on. Yes she is a growing girl and has an attitude sometimes, but not very much considering. She LOVES to read and I love reading with her. She does so good in school, and loves playing with her sisters and brother. She's on that edge of being grown up, but still wanting to play and be little. I love it.
Usually she is helping without being asked, or reminding me to do good things, like have prayers and read scriptures together, or have Family Home evening. She loves to do the lesson as much as she can. She is glad to have her own room, but is still likes being with people better. She has someone go with her if she needs to go upstairs alone and had Logan go with her in the garage to get something the other day. I remember being the same way till after I got married!! I love that she is almost as big as me, and can share shoes with me.

She loves Activity Days and is so excited for the Spotnite they are doing this Sunday. Summer is turning 8 this year so she will be introduced at the Spotnite and Kylee is so excited that she will be coming to Activity Days in September.
She had a fun Birthday Day yesterday (I hope ;) I made her a fun breakfast, something I don't usually do on Sunday's since church is at 9. They sang to her in primary and she got treats ;) She got to watch movie's she wanted and Grandma came to celebrate. Grandma gave her this cute dress and white dressy shirt. She loves it! She needed new Sunday clothes. When Jenna woke up she got to open her presents and I think she loved them. She got a snuggy type blanket with Tinkerbell on it, and another Diary of a Wimpy kid book. She was so excited about the book. And she got some new earrings and a bracelets. She loves jewelry. She picked Spaghetti for dinner and picked a chocolate cake with blue cream cheese frosting ;) I added green dots cause she likes green and polka dots. Thanks to Grandma it got frosted good. I'm still not so good at frosting cakes ;)
Friday will be her friend party, and she is so excited!!! She has had the night planned for a month or two. Games, pizza, movie's etc. I'll have pictures of that later;)

Of course some pics of Jenna too. Another thing I'm loving about Kylee growing up is leaving her with the kids for short amounts of time when I'm still somewhere in town. She is so responsible. I feel more comfortable with her home than with some babysitters I've had! Jer put the kids to bed on Thursday while I was at a meeting and went to play basketball before I got home. So Kylee stayed up in the living room till I got home. I then sent her up to bed just to have her come down again because a little someone was in her bed! It was so cute! Kylee's bed is really big and Jenna has to climb up the end like a latter to get on. She got out of bed, climbed in Kylee's bed and tucked herself in. What a cutie!

She LOVES grapes and will stick them in her cheeks and tell me she's a chipmunk :) (BTW, there aren't any in her cheeks in this picture. Those are just her chunky cheeks ;)

We're busy, but we need fun too!

I know as time moves on we are only going to get busier! Those of you who know me well will know that I like schedules and organization. So taking time to do something different has been hard in the past. I think I'm getting better at it though ;) Today Logan talked me into stopping at the park. Today is so busy, but I knew they'd love it and it is sunny today, so we did! It was so fun!

I love when the kids are home from school! So this Monday we made a fort in the kitchen ad living room. They loved it! They even had lunch and a movie in it.

Here's one just for fun. She's so silly!

Jenna is always sneaking oranges out of the fridge. She LOVES them. It's so funny! Here is Logan and Jenna peeling their own oranges. I'm glad they like healthy snacks ;)

Glad I don't have to wonder

I am still a total reader! I don't get to read much anymore, but I LOVE to read. Especially Fantasy and love stories. I've read this Eragon series before and was in the mood, so I read them again in the last couple weeks. They are a bit graphic in their fighting scenes, but I find myself right in the book trying to help the good guys win ;) This time reading it though I thought more deeply about some of the questions the Author had the main character wondering about.

They talk a lot about "Gods" in this book. Gods of each race (dwarfs, elves, humans, etc.) He wondered if there is a God, why he would allow so much bad to happen to everyone. I'm just so grateful that I know the truth about our Heavenly Father!!
He is the God of the whole earth and he loves everyone!!! He has allowed us the ability to choose and will help us through everything we come across. Sometimes bad things happen because of other peoples choices, but He loves us so much and wants to help us make it back to Him. Also in the book they wondered if they would live again after they die. Some believed they would not and would just "pass into the void". I'm so thankful that I know that we will live eternally together with our families and friends! Even more lately I'm thankful for that!

Mom's can't help but think the way their toddler talks is cute. Here's my baby's gibberish.

Normal Life

Like everyone else, we keep pretty busy around here! Lately Jenna is the one getting into all the trouble (at least it's still a little innocent and fun). I can't help but take pictures of her.

Making Daddy hold her dolly. He pretends that it bugs him, but he loves this girl to death!Playing in the kitty's water. Eww!

Nice headband ;)

I just thought this was cute of Logan. He was pretending this was a garage for his four wheeler. he would drive it in and out.

I'm still a Zumba-aholic and go all the time. The last week of January was 80's week and I had fun making silly 80's still outfits to wear. The funny thing is it was retro day at school one of the day's so we made silly outfits for the girls too.

I cut the sleeves off an old shirt and made them into leg warmers. It was pretty fun :)
Summer was a 70's hippy type person, I guess.

Kylee was something 80's ;) This was after she did dishes at cooking class after school. And she had taken out the scrunchies we had in a half pony tail on top of her head.

More randomness of Jenna. She makes us laugh.
Putting on as many hats as she could. Then putting one on Summer.

We LOVE when Grandma's come to visit! They were mauling her and everyone talking at once the whole time she was here! It's so funny.

The best was when Jenna kept kissing her. It was so cute! She did it too many times to count. Sweet girl. Jenna loves both her Grandma's! She prays for them to be safe every night!

Well, I'm sure hoping the Groundhog was right! I am so sick of freezing! I would even love the 40's right now! 15 is too cold! I'm ready for spring! I'm sure that will mean more pictures too!
