These pictures are what I found in the Daily Herald today ;) They came to our class on Tuesday and took pictures. I never thought I'd be front and center ;) So fun.

You can see the whole article online on The Daily Heralds website.

Etsy!

I haven't done a lot with my etsy shop lately! I finally did today and saw that most of my items had expired! Oops. I renewed them today and added a new one, and found a cool widget to add to the bottom of my blog, that shows all the pictures of my items. Take a look ;) (I may move it from the bottom to somewhere more visible, we'll see ;)

UPDATE:
I guess it will have to stay at the bottom, cause it's so big. BUT, I'm so glad I renewed yesterday! An hour later I got an order!! WOHOO!! A hat and two flower headbands got sent to PA yesterday!

Another Birthday!

My little boy is 5! He has gotten so grown up lately but it still doesn't seem like he could be 5 already! He is so excited to go to Kindergarten this year. We register on the 1st! He has been learning letters and numbers with me and loves it! He is so smart. He writes his name so good. I'm so proud of him ;)

We took the training wheels off his bike this month. I think he'll be riding in no time!

New Sunday clothes! He needed some so bad! I think he looks so handsome!

Sweet Kylee used almost all of her class "bucks" in her class auction to buy Logan two big trucks! She was so dang excited to show me. What a sweet girl! Logan loved them!

Yay! More church clothes from Grandma Ovard! He got a dang cute green striped shirt and some tan pants too.

Grandma Hayes got him what he's always wanted! Tools! Now he can work with Daddy!
The cake! I simplified the one I was going to do, and I'm glad. Drawing it was easier :) He picked the colors though.

Waiting to see the cake. He is so funny. He plays with his ears all the time. He has since he was really little. Lately he tucks his right one inside itself and it stays! I'll have to get a picture of it sometime. He didn't even know he was doing it in this picture.

I think he likes it ;)

MMM.

Legos! I think this is my favorite present we gave him. He is getting so grown up and coordinated. I helped him read the instructions, but he was so patient and loved putting these together! He is like his Uncle Austin!

Each kit can make three different ones. He has tried them all now.

LOL! I love this one. Ready to go to bed ;) The next morning he got up, got dressed and came into my room with all this on again. So funny! Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

PS. Jer also put all our knobs and handles on! I love them!

Their done!

I am in heaven! I didn't think I'd ever REALLY get my dream cabinets. But I do! Someday I'll get new counter tops and a new sink and faucet, but for now I'll enjoy my new kitchen! We are going tomorrow to get drawer pulls and knobs. It'll be so awesome!

Here are some before pictures again-In the process: Taping (That's Terry laying on the counter ;)
Bases done!

And- Ta Da!

So proud ;) (You need to shave handsome ;)
Here's a close up.
And the two goofs. Terry did an awesome job! Yes, I emptied, cleaned then put stuff back, and Jeremy helped by taping, sanding distressing, etc. , but Terry did most of the hard work! He said I can give his number to anyone interested!

Life

So I've been waiting to post something about my parents, cause it's been a little crazy, and we weren't sure exactly what was happening.

For those of my friends who haven't heard, my parents have split up after being married almost 37 years! I haven't said this out loud to anyone in my family yet, but I think they know how I feel, but I AM SO GLAD! I think this is just what was needed for both of them! Dad has tried too many times to count to be better, and Mom has dealt with crap for too many years! Now Mom is happy everyday, and Dad is really trying to get better! I hope he really does this time! I think her being gone is the only way he will really do it. Mom is staying with her brother in AF for now and tells me that she is really happy when she gets "home".

I pray for them both daily and I try not to give too much of my opinion so that it will truly be their decisions, but I can't help but be happy. It's only been a few weeks so there is a long way to go. It has been so stressful, and exciting at the same time. My Dad has driven me nuts, and made me understand again why my Mom deserves some freedom and sanity! I'll tell more details when we know more of what will happen. We would love any extra prayers anyone can give ;)

Here we go!!

We have wanted to redo our cupboards for quite a few years, and this year had enough from our tax returns to do it! Our good friend Terri Treasure has worked in a cabinet shop for 10 yrs or so and is giving us a really good deal to come and do it. Jer will help of course. Me, I'm getting out of here!! ;) The kids and I will go hang out with family most of the time, and come Sunday they will look so awesome! I'm so excited! Of course putting everything back in the cupboards will be a pain, but I'm kind of excited to rearrange them a little bit. So, here is some before pics. Some after will come next week.Sure makes you realize how much crap you have in your kitchen ;) I have already thrown away quite a bit of stuff!

Kylee's Party

Kylee had a fun Birthday Party. 3 Friends came and they played games, ate pizza, giggled, played more games, and watched a movie. She is so grown up! She pretty much did it all herself.

All set up. Pizza, popcorn, treats, and games.I've had this idea for years and finally did it. I used toilet paper rolls and filled them with candy, then covered them with tissue paper and ties the ends. I think everyone liked them ;) Kylee got the donuts for free for having good grades.
They played some silly game where they had to eat baby food. They all hated it and ended up quitting after one round. It was funny.
They loved Apples to Apples, and charades the best. They also painted fingernails.

She loved all the presents she got too!Ooh, makeup ;)
Especially the candy!

All in all, as much as I'm a non party lover, I had fun and I'm glad they did too.

Man I needed this!

It was such a great weekend! I really needed a break from life. Kylee's party was fun, but going to the cabin where there is no phones or Internet, was so nice! We had such fun sledding, laughing, riding snow mobiles and watching movies. I had so much fun on a ride alone with Jeremy. Jer got stuck in the snow and we had to turn the snow mobile around. It was so hard, but we work good together!

It's serious business, getting ready to go play in the snow! ;)

Boy was it fun! Even Jenna liked the big hill.
She wanted to go by herself. And she laughed when she crashed.
Summer is not afraid. She said she likes riding with Dad on the snowmobile cause he goes fast!
Logan didn't even wait for help. When he got to the top he sat and went right back down again! Since he doesn't weigh too much, he went way far too. He loved it!
We had to make Kylee go down. She is our scared one. But she ended up loving it and going by herself.
She even got Grandpa Ovard to go down with her. The crashed right after this. It was funny.
Later Jenna got tired of going so she just hung out with Grandpa while the others went on the sleds. We ended up taking them to the top on the snowmobiles and pushing them off, then going back down and getting them. They loved it!
Kylee said she thinks we need to do this every year. Maybe we ought to invest in these snowmobiles ;)
