I never thought this day would come!

For three Summers now, I have been trying to get Kylee to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels. Actually she wouldn't even ride it with training wheels. Last year I was pregnant and had no patience, so I didn't try very hard. The year before she just cried when she sat on it and I just got mad, so we gave up. Well one day last week, a neighbor came over riding her bike like it's no big deal, and she is two years younger than Kylee. She let Kylee try for a second and she decided it wasn't so hard. So yesterday, she asked me to get her bike down. She hopped on all by herself and within a few tries she could ride it all the way down the street! I was so dang excited. All it took was for her to stop being scared. So Good Job Kylee! I am so proud of you!
A little later she was riding with her friend down the street and had a little accident getting off and fell on some rocks, cutting her knee pretty good. She was bleeding quite a bit and didn't even cry! Boy has she grown up so much lately. I probably would have cried.
Jenna was so excited to see Daddy. That's all she says, "Dada!"
Jeremy couldn't believe it when he got home and saw Kylee riding her bike!

Jenna was trying to eat the toys on her bath seat. It was so funny.

I have had a Winnie the pooh umbrella stroller for quite a few years now, and it is falling apart, the footrest broke off, the clip to keep it folded broke off the the handles are twisted. I've wanted a new one forever but couldn't fit it in the budget. Well my neighbor had a yard sale the other day and sold this brand new looking PINK stroller to me for only 2 bucks! I love it, and so does Jenna. (Thanks Tony and Kelcey!)

Way to go Kylee. We are trying to get Gabe to do the same thing but like you, I am not patient enough right now. Maybe when he sees others do it, it will be motivation for him.
