When the Dad is gone.....

.....the family will play! I haven't gotten Jeremy to play games lately, so when he went up the cabin to put together the bunk beds, we decided to play. While Kylee and I played Rummikub, Logan and Summer played connect four. They just put the pieces in and let them out over and over again. It was so cute.

Jenna kept grabbing my pieces. She loved it. Kylee was in the bathroom when I took these pictures so I didn't get any of her. Sorry Kylee. Kylee won, though, (with my help) She's catching on quick. After, we all played Sorry. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that. But I was worried that at any moment if things went to slow or something that Logan would get bored and mess things up. But he didn't. He loved every minute of it. He sat so patient for his turn and loved turning over his card. We haven't played a board game for a while and Summer now can do it all by herself. We don't have to show her the squares to move to. Logan ended up winning. Then Summer, then Kylee, then me. (They each played with two pieces and I played with all four!) We had so much fun! There was no fighting all night. (Kylee only got sad for a second the first time someone used a sorry on her and sent her home, but she got over it quickly and was happy the rest of the time.) And the t.v. was off the whole time! We need to do this more often.

Logan loves to get Jenna toys. Today he gave her the whole bag! He told me "Look Mom, a lot!" What a good brother.

She wasn't sure what to think of it though.
