Fiesta Days Rodeo

We were thinking of trying to go to the Days of '47 Rodeo, but the tickets cost too much, plus gas, construction, etc. So Jeremy got some tickets for the rodeo in Spanish Fork. It was so much fun. Things didn't start until 7:30 but, Jeremy was way excited, plus we wanted good parking, so we got there at 6. We walked around for a minute, then I needed to sit, so we found some shady seats to sit in for a while but Kylee was scared that she was going to fall and started bawling and totally embarrassing us, so Jeremy took her down to walk around for a while. I sat with the other two in the shade for a while, and Logan got to watch a big tractor rake the dirt. He thought that was so cool. So at about 7 we found Jer and Kylee and they went to sit in our seats (Jer finally talked Kylee into going, and of course we were in the seats second from the top on rickety stands) and I went to get food. A high school girl sang some songs while we waited for it to start at 8. She was really good!

The rodeo clown was so funny! He kept us laughing. But the best part was when the motorcycle act wasn't ready and he was supposed to warm up the motorcycle while we waited, and he acted like he'd never been near one before. When the rider came out he suddenly jumped on it and took off all crazy like he was going to crash. Finally we found out that he is actually the professional and he made a huge jump over his truck and trailer. It was cool.

The bull riding was so fun to watch. They are huge. Those cowboys are crazy.

After, we watched some fireworks across the street, from our seats. We got home at midnight. It was so fun. I think we are going to make this a yearly tradition. But next year we will get tickets earlier so we can get seats in the shade.
